Marisa Armer, a sophomore right side hitter on the UNH volleyball team, was named the MVP of the Holly Young Invitational that was held at Lundholm Gymnasium on Aug. 26-27. She was also honored as America East Player of the Week on Aug. 30 for her performance in that tourney.

Marisa posted a team-best 34 kills with a .419 hitting percentage and led the Wildcats to a 4-0 weekend at the Holly Young Invitational. She notched 11 kills int the victory against St. Francis College Brooklyn on Sept. 26, and she hit at a .500 clip or higher in the other three matches.

The Wildcats return to action Friday, Sept. 2 at the Villanova Tournament with a 4:30 p.m. match vs. Fairfield.
