Senior Charles Briscoe III (Bowie, MD) of the UNH Men’s Football team was named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the week on October 2nd.
On the week of September 30, Senior Charles Briscoe III (Bowie, MD) was named the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week on September 30. Briscoe blocked two punts, recovering one for a touchdown, and forced a fumble in New Hampshire’s 54-51 loss to Towson. The senior blocked a punt in the third quarter, leading to a go-ahead Wildcats’ TD to make it 34-30. In the fourth quarter, Briscoe blocked another punt and recovered it in the end zone to give UNH a 48-38 lead. Briscoe also forced a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half.
The 2-3 Wildcats take on UAlbany (3-2) on Saturday, October 14 in Durham, NH for the annual Homecoming game.
