Wildcats Picked #1 in AE Preseason Coaches Poll

UNH scores 22 points and two first-place votes to edge Bryant
BOSTON – The UNH swimming and diving team has been selected as the No. 1 team in the 2026-27 America East Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, which was announced Wednesday.

The Wildcats totaled 22 points and two first-place votes to edge Bryant (21 points) for the top spot in the voting conducted among the conference's head coaches. UNH, which has won five of the past seven America East Championships and a league-record 12 overall titles under head coach Josh Willman, opens the season against AE preseason No. 3 Vermont on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 11am in Swasey Pool.
