DURHAM, N.H. – Sophomore Erica Jesseman (Scarborough, Maine) and freshman Liz Campbell submitted respective fifth- and sixth-place finishes Saturday afternoon to help the University of New Hampshire women’s cross country team to a third-place showing at the season-opening quad meet with ProvidenceCollege, BostonCollege and Georgia State College at the College Woods course.
Jesseman completed the run in 17 minutes, 42 seconds, while Campbell finished just six seconds later at .
The Wildcats finished with 61 points, just two behind BostonCollege (59). Providence led the way with 18 points, while Georgia State College rounded out the four teams with 150 points.
