COLLEGIATE ACCOLADES: America EastAll-Conference Second Team (‘07); Marisa Didio Award(‘07 ‘08)
AS AJUNIOR IN 2008: Played in all 20 games and was in thestarting lineup 19 times, including both postseason games in theAmerica East championship; was injured during pre-game warmup vs.Harvard but entered the game early in the first half; recorded ateam-high three defensive saves; served as a major defensivestopper for the Wildcats in the backfield and was a critical partof the defensive penalty corner unit.
AS ASOPHOMORE IN 2007: Started all 20 games in whichshe started; played in all five America East conference games;recorded one point on an assist; assisted on the game-winning goalin double overtime
against Maine(10/6).
AS AFRESHMAN IN 2006: Played in all 18 games and wasin the starting lineup 17 times; started four of five America Eastgames; recorded her first collegiate point with an assist againstnationally-ranked Boston College; finished the season with onepoint.
BEFOREUNH: Redshirted the 2005 season at the University ofConnecticut.
HIGHSCHOOL: Kierais a 2004 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where shelettered in field hockey and lacrosse; named New Hampshire Playerof the Year as a senior; All-State First Team in 2003 and 2004;All-State Second Team in 2002; recorded 14 goals and 19 assists tolead STA to the 2004 state semifinals; guided STA to the 2003 statetitle with five goals and 15 assists; team MVP as a junior andsenior; lacrosse captain as a junior and senior.
