HIGHSCHOOL: Shayna is a ‘09 graduate of Dover HighSchool, where she lettered in field hockey as well as both indoorand outdoor track; National Festival participant, 2007-08; NationalFutures participant, 2005-08; Class L All-State First Team in‘08; Foster’s Daily Democrat Highest HonorableMention Team; tallied 24 goals and 17 assists as a four-yearstarter; played for former UNH head coach Marisa Didio as part ofHockey Mates and Disney Classic; also played for the SeacoastUnited club team; earned five letters in indoor track, where shequalified for states in the 55-meter and 300m from 2005-08 and wasnamed the MVP in ‘09; earned five letters in outdoor track,where she qualified for the 100m and 200m from 2005-08.
PERSONAL:Born 12/25/90 in Portsmouth, N.H.; daughter of Thomas and DianeDuffy; her great grandfather, George Jaques, lettered in bothfootball and lacrosse at UNH (1931-34); her grandfather, ColonelRichard Spaulding, lettered in both football and track at UNH;major is undeclared in the school of Health and Human Services.
