Moore Breaks 33-Year-Old School Record in 200-Meter Dash, Leads Women's Track and Field at New England Championships

Five Wildcats placed in the top-five of their respective events on Friday.
BOSTON — Sophomore jumper and sprinter Sarah Moore (Lisbon, Maine) won the women's long jump with a 19' 9.75 jump and won the women's 200-meter dash, finishing with a 24.79 time and breaking the previous school record, set by Alison Poulin in 1993. Additionally, Briana Danis (Hooksett, N.H.) won the women's weight throw with a 57' 1.50 toss, highlighting the women's indoor track and field team's first day at the New England Championships.
As a team, the Wildcats finished with 27.75 points, finishing in fifth place.
