COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ten student-athletes on the University of New Hampshire field hockey team have earned a distinguished place on the 2025 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
Seniors Brecken Calcari (St. Louis, Mo.), Madilynn Clark (Evanston, Ill.) and Nicole Poulakis (Ajax, Ontario) have been named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad all four years.
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester. A total of nearly 1,100 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from 82 institutions were honored this year.
Junior Kathelijne Knuttel (Groningen, Netherlands) received this accolade for the third consecutive season.
Sophomores Makayla Clark (Evanston, Ill.), Katie Garrison (Gilroy, Calif.), Megan Marthins (Haddonfield, N.J.) and Kay Murphy (Walpole, Mass.) made the grade for the second time in as many years.
Emily Coughlin (Marshfield, Mass.) and Emily Layton (Harwick, Mass.) were honored in their first year as collegians.
