Wildcats posted a 3.62 grade point average to earn CSCAA’s highest academic award
RICHMOND, Va. - The UNH women's swimming & diving program has once again been recognized among the nation's top academic performers, earning Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Fall 2025 semester.
Â
Led by seven student-athletes boasting a perfect 4.00 grade point average, the Wildcats registered a 3.62 team GPA, exceeding the CSCAA's 3.00 minimum standard and reaffirming the program's long-standing commitment to academic excellence under head coach Josh Willman. UNH is one of 709 teams across 414 institutions nationwide to receive the prestigious honor, which represents the highest academic award bestowed by the CSCAA.
Â
"This recognition speaks directly to the work ethic and character of our student-athletes," said Willman. "Our team prides itself on balancing the demands of Division I competition with a strong commitment to the classroom, and we're proud to once again be honored among the top academic programs in the country."
Â
The Scholar All-America Team award, presented in partnership with Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, highlights collegiate programs from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and NJCAA institutions. In total, more than 16,400 student-athletes earned distinction for Fall 2025.
Â
"These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany.
Â
UNH's selection continues a tradition of academic success for the Wildcats, who have consistently ranked among the top-performing athletic programs within the America East Conference and nationally.
