AE Champions Earn CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team Honor

Undefeated, 12-Time Champions Registered 3.55 Spring GPA
ATLANTA – The undefeated and league-record 12-time America East Conference champion UNH swimming and diving team was selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announced Thursday.
To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester. The Wildcats boasted a 3.55 spring GPA.
"The competitive drive of this team is on display as they compete each and every day in each and every way," said Head Coach Josh Willman, who was named the America East Coach of the Year for a league-record 18th time. "I am proud of our student-athletes for relentlessly applying themselves in the classroom this spring to earn this Scholar All-America Team honor that puts an exclamation point on a truly historic season."
Junior Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) was named the 2024-25 America East Women's Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year, marking the sixth straight year and conference-leading 13th time overall a Wildcat garnered that honor. Mahoney, who totaled a 3.95 GPA as a health management & policy major, was named to the America East All-Academic team for the second straight season. She was joined by first-time All-Academic team members, sophomores Grace Blume (Dedham, Mass.) and Grace Mahon (Orange, Conn.).
Five Wildcats earned America East Presidential Scholar-Athlete accolades for earning an undergraduate degree in the 2024-25 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher. Megumi Komoto (Schaumburg, Ill.) and Ana O'Neil (St. Paul, Minn.) led the way with a 4.00 GPA; they were joined by Emma Clarke (Avon, N.Y.), Annie Jencova (Waikanae, New Zealand) and Grace Sala (Sun Prairie, Wis.).
At the 2025 WESPY Awards, Komoto and O'Neil were co-recipients of the Wildcat Award for Academic Excellence after completing their undergraduate careers with a 4.0 GPA. O'Neil also earned the America East Elite 18 Award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the championship meet.
Eleven Wildcats were recognized as members of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society (junior academic standing or higher with a 3.5 and higher GPA). First-time inductees included juniors Trinity Devanney (Gulf Breeze, Fla.), Sarah Guerrette (Bow, N.H.), Jencova, Mahoney, Caitlin Mason (Charleston, S.C.), and captain Carolyn Nelson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.). Second time honorees featured Sala, Clarke, Komoto, O'Neil, and senior Chiara Maria Pradissitto (Milan, Italy).

The Wildcats have a league-record 12 championships (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025).
