Reaves earns her first America East weekly honors
BOSTON – Freshman Emma Reaves (Westminster, Md.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team has been named both the America East Female Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Commonwealth Invitational on April 13. These are Reaves' first America East weekly honors of her career.
Reaves placed second in the discus throw and seventh in the shot put at the Commonwealth Invitational. Her throw of 149' 3" in the discus was a PR and ranks second in America East this season. Her toss of 43' 1.75" in the shot put is third in America East.
The Wildcats return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, when they travel to UMass Lowell for the George Davis Invitational and to the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va.
