Multiple Wildcats Record Personal Bests on Day Two of the River Hawk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. – The UNH men's track and field team competed in day two of the River Hawk Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell at the Track at New Balance. Multiple Wildcats recorded personal bests.

Event Notebook

Junior Peyton Ramsey (Plainville, Conn.) placed first in the men's 5000-meter race with a time of 14:42.68
Sophomore Liam McGovern (North Kingstown R.I) threw for first in the men's weight throw, recording a PR of 17.94m
Sophomore Jack Washam (Nashua, N.H.) also recorded a PR in the men's weight throw of 15.31m
Freshman Gunnar Sokol (Berwick, Maine.) had a personal best in the long jump of 6.93m placing 8^th overall.
Freshman Avery Cipcic jumped for 1.95m in the high jump, placing 13 overall.
Junior Kevin Finn (Kennebunk, Maine.) ran for a PR of 8:35.86 in the 3000-meter race.
Freshman Julian Rime (New City, N.Y.) finished 11^th in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:05.55

Two Wildcats also competed in and recorded personal bests in the Terrier Invitational hosted by BU.

Junior Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) recorded a PR in the Mile race of 4:06.04.
Graduate student Aidan O'Hern (Concord, N.H.) also recorded a PR in the mile race of 4:03.42.

Next Up

The 'Cats will return to action on Feb 9-10 where they will be competing in the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University at the BU Track and Tennis Center!
