Lauren Quann notches 11th place finish in the javelin on opening day of Raleigh Relays

DURHAM, N.H. -- Senior Lauren Quann (Pictou, Nova Scotia) and junior thrower Sarah Williams (Dover, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team competed on the opening day of the Raleigh Relays on Thursday afternoon at the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility on the campus of NC State.
Quann notched an 11th place finish in the javelin with a throw of 145'7, while Williams throw of 40'7.75 in the shot put was 37th at the meet among 57 student-athletes competing in the event.
The Wildcats return to action at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 25th on ACCNX at 10 a.m.
