Gorgenyi matches two personal bests; Worthington/Kelley/Lui tally event-winning 9.900s
DURHAM, N.H. – Sophomore Kylie Gorgenyi (North Reading, Mass.) equaled a career high on vault and uneven bars, sophomores Alyssa Worthington (West Warwick, R.I.) and Robyn Kelley (Wakefield, Mass.) set career-bests on balance beam and junior Hailey Lui (Collegeville, Pa.) tied her personal best on floor exercise to lead the UNH gymnastics team to a season-high 195.350 in Sunday afternoon's dual-meet victory against Long Island University (188.850) at Lundholm Gym.
The Wildcats (3-1, 2-1 EAGL) won each of the individual events, all four team events and 11 of 12 Top-3 event finishers came from the UNH lineup.
Gorgenyi won vault and bars with a 9.875 in each event, Worthington and Kelley scored a 9.900 to share first on beam, and Lui's 9.900 earned first on floor.

•It will be a head-to-head matchup featuring the defending EAGL co-champions when the N.C. State Wolfpack invades Lundholm Gym for a dual meet against the Wildcats on Saturday, March 6 (7 p.m.). That will be UNH's final home meet of the 2021 season.

•A strong start included three scores of 9.800 or above, led by Gorgenyi and co-second place finishers, senior Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa. / 9.825) and Kelley. The Wildcats opened a 2.075 lead to go ahead to stay.

Second Rotation – Uneven Bars
•Gorgenyi's second straight victory was supported by senior Kylie Kratchwell (Sewell, N.J.), who equaled a personal best with a 9.825 for second place. Senior Clare Hampford
(Trumbull, Conn.) scored a 9.775 for third, followed by Diggan (9.750).

•Following the dynamic duo of Worthington and Kelley were junior Hannah Baddick (Gettysburg, Pa.), who took third place (9.825), and freshman Jenna DeVincenzo (Bethpage, N.Y.), who scored a career-high 9.775 for fourth.

Fourth Rotation – Floor Exercise
•Lui's victory was followed by a co-second-place showing from junior Ally Cucich (Aberdeen, N.J. / 9.775) and LIU's Alisson Lapp. Freshman Sierra Bauman (Wallingford, Conn.) recorded a career-high 9.750 for a share of fourth with LIU's Amanda Loo.

•UNH and LUI are slated to meet for the third straight weekend when the Wildcats return to the Pratt Recreation Center in Brookville, N.Y., for an all-EAGL quad meet that includes Long Island, Pittsburgh and Towson on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m.
