DURHAM, N.H. -- Junior Jamy Lum (Honolulu, Hawaii) of the University of New Hampshire women's swimming and diving team was named America East Swimmer of the week, by the conference office on Wednesday morning.
Lum won the 100 breast (1:04.94) and was part of the 400-yard medley relay win (3:52.01) on Friday vs. CCSU. She was also on the medley team that would win the 200-yard with a mark of 1:48.50. She won the 200 breast (2:20.51), which ranks atop the AE leaderboard, on Saturday to help secure the 236-117 victory for the Wildcats.
"We're excited for Jamy's selection this week," Head coach Josh Willman said. "Her training is going very well, and she is really getting after it in practice and has increased her intensity over the past few weeks. It's great to see it paying off as she returns to racing form."
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, November 6th at Siena. Meet time is 1 p.m. from the Siena Swim Center.
