DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's track & field team, coming off a top-four finish in the America East conference championship meet, heads down to Boston University for the 2020 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
The Wildcats kick off the weekend's meet with senior multi-eventer Bosibori Mosongo (Indianapolis, Ind.) taking part in the pentathlon starting Friday and ending Saturday. This will be Mosongo's fourth pentathlon of the season, after nearly meeting the school record in the America East meet, where she finished fourth in the final standings.
"[Mosongo] is having a very strong senior season," says head coach Robert Hoppler. "This will be here fourth pentathlon of the year and she's improved in every single one, and she's excited to compete in this championship event and we're looking forward to another great performance out of her."
The Wildcats will also look to middle distance runners Meg Champagne (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) and Caroline Mahoney (Bedford, N.H.) to build off their impressive scoring performances at the America East meet. Mahoney is coming off a fifth-place America East finish in the 5000m; both will compete in the 5000 this weekend at ECAC's.

In the pole vault, the Wildcats have been led by the underclassmen duo of freshman Danielle Heine (Waverly, Pa.) and Jordan Hoffman (North Chelmsford, Mass.). Both athletes had scoring marks in the America East meet, with Heine taking runner up in her first championship performance, and Hoffman finishing sixth. Both will look have an impact in the pole vault again this weekend.
"All season long they've been exciting athletes who have had success in every meet we've gone to. Dani is coming off her runner up finish at America east and is looking to cap off a tremendous freshman campaign," says Hoppler.
