Gajewski, Murdock Finish Up Season at NCAA East Prelim

The two Wildcats traveled together to the preliminary meet for the second time in their careers.
JACKSONVILLE, Florida – University of New Hampshire fifth-year senior Danielle Gajewski (Danville, N.H.) and senior Shannon Murdock (Exeter, N.H.) both competed on Thursday evening at the NCAA East Preliminary Championship meet hosted by the University of North Florida.
The trip to Jacksonville marked the second time in just three outdoor seasons where the duo made the trip to the NCAA preliminary round; Gajewski made her third career appearance ('16, '17, '19) and Murdock her second ('17, '19).
Murdock was the first of the duo to compete, as she competed in the first heat of the 1500-meter run. Murdock finished in 4:33.63, to take 10th in her heat and 42nd overall.
Gajewski took part in the final heat of the 800m run first round race, finishing eighth in her heat in 2:15.34. Gajewski finished 48th overall in the final event standings.
THREE-TIME QUALIFIERS
Gajewski finishes her collegiate track & field career with three NCAA Preliminary Championship qualifications; she joins a group of three-time UNH qualifiers that includes:
