UNH has has tipped off against Maine more times than any other opponent in program history – 178 times – with the Black Bears holding a 106-72 advantage. The Wildcats have swept the season series each of the past three years, however, to record six consecutive wins in the series.
Iba Camara became UNH's career rebounding leader Jan. 21 with the fourth of his seven rebounds against Stony Brook University at Lundholm Gym to increase his total to 901. Camara surpassed Dave Pemberton's mark of 897 that stood since 1972.
Tanner Leissner has 1,766 career points, which ranks second on the UNH all-time leaderboard. At his current average of 19.3 ppg this season, Leissner is on pace to break the scoring record of 1,861 held by Al McClain (1980-84) in early February.
New Hampshire is ranked in the Top 10 in the nation in two statistics: No. 7 in rebounding margin (+8.8) and No. 9 in free throw percentage (77.8%).
UNH is atop the America East leaderboard in seven statistics, including scoring defense (65.4 ppg), defense field goal percentage (.418) and 3-point defense FG percentage (.311).
UNH has held the opposition below its scoring average each of the last seven games; Stony Brook scored 51 points vs. the 'Cats in comparison to its season average of 72.6 ppg.
