Scafidi Strikes in 7-1 Loss at No. 17 Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Taylor Scafidi (Waltham, Mass.) scored a late first-half goal to lift the University of New Hampshire field hockey team within 2-1, but 17th-ranked University of Iowa scored five unanswered second-half goals to record a 7-1 victory Sunday afternoon at Grant Field.
UNH left Iowa with a weekend split against the nationally-ranked Hawkeyes. The Wildcats prevailed 3-2 in overtime Friday. New Hampshire is now 3-2 overall. Iowa is 3-4.
