AMHERST, Mass. – Senior Amanda Szymanski (Londonderry, N.H.) ran a personal best time in the 1500 meters to lead the University of New Hampshire women's track & field team to second place in the Pre-Conference Meet at the University of Massachusetts on Saturday.
Szymanski won the 1500 in a time of four minutes, 37.73 seconds.
Freshman Koryn Joswiakowski (McDonald, Pa.) won the triple jump at 37 feet, 5 inches and was fifth in the long jump.
Freshman Isobel Kelly (Brisbane, Australia) won the steeplechase in a time of 11:38.45.
UMass won the meet with 193 points. UNH had 137.50 points. Dartmouth was third at 106, UMass Lowell fourth with 82, Vermont fifth with 80, Central Connecticut sixth with 60 and Maine seventh with 28.50.

- UNH will host the America East Championships on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.
