CHASING 20
Two teams have hit the 20-win mark in UNH women's basketball history. The most recent was the 1983-84 edition that posted a 20-8 record. The only other was the 1982-83 team the year before that went 23-7.
PLAY4KAY
Sunday's game against Binghamton is UNH's annual Play4Kay contest. The "pink" game is designed to bring awareness to and raise funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund that has distributed more than $5 million for scientific research and projects assisting the underserved in all women's cancers. The Wildcats will be selling t-shirts for $20 with all proceeds going to Play4Kay and there will be donation boxes as well. Yow, who passed away in 2009, coached North Carolina State from 1975-2009 and also coached the United States Olympic team to a gold medal in 1988.
