First-Ever ESPNU Game at Vermont Next (Feb. 9; 9 PM)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team (14-10, 5-5 AE) will take on the University of Vermont (21-5, 11-0) in a ESPNU matchup on Thursday, Feb. 9 (9 PM) in Patrick Gymnasium.
Looking Ahead
The Wildcats return home on Wednesday, Feb. 15 (7 PM) to take on America East rival University of Maine on ESPN3. It's Light Up Lundholm night as every fan in attendance will receive a foam light stick. Tickets are available HERE.

First Time for Everything
The America East announced on Wednesday, Jan. 18 that New Hampshire will play Vermont on Thursday, Feb. 9 (9 PM) on ESPNU, the first time in program history UNH has played on the national channel. Vermont and UNH were ranked one and two, respectively, in the America East preseason poll. "I think it's a great compliment to our basketball program and it's an honor to be on national television for the first time in program history," said head coach Bill Herrion. "It's a great opportunity for our team, program, fans, alumni and the University." The Wildcats will play the second half of a double-header on ESPNU as Winthrop takes on UNC Asheville at 7 PM.
