'Cats Battle Temple in Stick It For The Cure Meet on ESPN3 (Feb. 19, 1 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team plays host to its annual Stick It for the Cure meet when it welcomes the Temple University Owls to Lundholm Gym in a Sunday afternoon 1 p.m. matchup that will be streamed live on ESPN3.

PROMOTIONS
The first 200 UNH students in attendance Sunday will receive a free UNH Gymnastics Stick It For the Cure t-shirt. Any fans wearing pink to the meet will gain admission for the special price of $3, and there will be pink LED batons for the first 200 fans through the door. Following the meet, the Wildcats will stick around to sign autographs. For tickets, visit www.unhwildcats.com.
NEXT HOME MEET
The Wildcats are right back at Lundholm Gym for a dual-meet against Air Force this Friday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. It will be Fitness/Heart Health Day. Show any gym or yoga membership and receive tickets at the special price of $3. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive a free jump rope or stress ball. The meet will include a number of fun-filled, fitness-focused competitions for prizes. And, as always, the UNH gymnasts will sign autographs immediately following the meet. MEET NOTES
•The Wildcats have defeated 24 straight opponents at Lundholm Gym in a streak that dates back to March 8, 2014. UNH is 3-0 this season at home with wins against Pittsburgh, Southern Connecticut State and Utah State.
•A triumph over Temple would give head coach Gail Goodspeed her 600th all-time victory at UNH, where she has been the head coach since 1979-80.
•New Hampshire leads the all-time series with Temple, 15-0.
•The Wildcats entered the week ranked 27th in the RoadtoNatonals.com Top 25. The top 36 teams qualify for the NCAA Regional Championships at the conclusion of the regular season (March 18). The 'Cats have advanced to Regionals 33 times in the 35 years the NCAA has sponsored the championships. They qualified for EAIAW championships), the precursor to NCAA Regionals, in Goodspeed's first two seasons (1980-81), which makes it 35 postseason appearances in her 37 years at the reins.
•Danielle Mulligan is No. 1 in EAGL and tied for 14th nationally on uneven bars with a 9.871 average. The sophomore earned her fifth consecutive individual bars victory with a season-high-tying 9.900 at North Carolina on Friday night.
•The Wildcats were bested by the Tar Heels, 195.875-195.075, despite registering a 49.100 on bars, which was their top bar mark of the season.
