'Cats Venture to North Carolina for EAGL Showdown (Feb. 17, 7 p.m., ACC Extra)

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of New Hampshire kicks off a busy weekend of two meets in three days with a road dual-meet at East Atlantic Gymnastics League rival University of North Carolina on Friday, Feb. 17 (7 p.m. ACC Network Extra) at Carmichael Arena. The Wildcats return to Lundholm Gym on Sunday, Feb. 19, for a 1 p.m. showdown with Temple University that will be streamed live on ESPN3.
The Wildcats will host their annual Stick It for the Cure meet live on ESPN3 against Temple University on Sunday, Feb. 19 (1 p.m.). Wear pink and help the 'Cats raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness in their matchup against the Owls at Lundholm Gym. The first 200 UNH students in attendance will receive a free UNH Gymnastics Stick It For the Cure t-shirt. Tickets are available HERE and by calling 603-862-4000.
MEET NOTES
•Sophomore Danielle Mulligan has a streak of four straight uneven-bar individual victories. EAGL's No.1-ranked bar performer (9.865) topped the podium versus Pittsburgh and Southern Connecticut State (9.875/Jan. 21) and Utah State (9.900/Jan. 29) at Lundholm Gym, then captured wins in a quad-meet at George Washington (9.900/Feb. 5) and at Bowling Green (9.825/Feb. 11).
•Wildcat head coach Gail Goodspeed enters the dual meet with 599 career victories at UNH.
•Nicole O'Leary is EAGL's third-ranked vault competitor with an average of 9.792.
•North Carolina boasts two of EAGL's top three All-Around competitors, top-ranked Morgan Lane (39.235 AVG) and third-ranked Madison Nettles (39.175). Lane is a three-time and reigning EAGL Gymnast of the Week.
