Gymnastics Hosts Home Opener Versus Pitt, SCSU (Jan. 21, 4 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team competes in Lundholm Gym for the first time this season Saturday when the Wildcats challenge defending East Atlantic Gymnastics League champion Pittsburgh and Southern Connecticut State at 4 p.m.

PROMOTIONS
Saturday's home opener is Youth Sports Night at Lundholm Gym. Every young Wildcat fan wearing a team uniform or jersey will be admitted for free! There will be fun promotions throughout the meet to test kids' physical prowess with a chance to win prizes! Following the meet, the UNH gymnasts will be signing their official team posters.

•The Wildcats have defeated 21 consecutive opponents at Lundholm Gym in an impressive streak that dates back to March 8, 2014.
•In the last meeting, Pittsburgh (195.675) edged UNH (195.525) at Pitt's Fitzgerald Field House to capture the Panthers' first EAGL Championship in school history March 19, 2016.
•The Wildcats last squared off with the Owls in the 2016 Stick It For the Cure meet, which UNH won 194.100-190.425 at Lundholm Gym.
•The uneven bar competition pits EAGL's No. 1-ranked Taylor Laymon (9.838 AVG.) of Pitt with the No. 2-ranked Danielle Mulligan (9.825).
•A matchup to watch on vault features EAGL No. 6 Nicole O'Leary (9.775) leading the 'Cats against EAGL No. 3 Tracy Pearson (9.825).
