Gymnastics Tangles with No. 17 GWU in Quad Meet (Feb. 19, 7 p.m.)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team challenges two East Atlantic Gymnastics League rivals –17th-ranked George Washington University and the University of North Carolina—along with the College of William & Mary in a quad meet at GWU's Charles E. Smith Center on Friday night at 7 p.m.
NEXT HOME MEET: The Wildcats are back at Lundholm Gym for Senior Night/Faculty Appreciation Night on Friday, Feb. 26 (7:30 p.m.). It will mark the final career home meet for seniors Kelsey Aucoin, Catarina Broccoli, Lauren Brodie and Cassy Izzo. The 'Cats will also honor their favorite UNH faculty member in a special pre-meet ceremony. CLICK HERE for ticket information.

MEET NOTES:
- Danielle Doolin has won the EAGL Rookie of the Week award five straight weeks (Jan. 19-Feb. 16). Doolin shared the honor each of the last two weeks. Doolin is ranked 10th in EAGL in all-around (38.839 average)
- Meghan Pflieger was feted as EAGL co-Specialist of the Week for the first time this season. In the Wildcats' victory over Southern Connecticut last week, Pflieger scored a 9.800 on vault (tied for second), earned first place on beam with a 9.875, and finished the day by tying for first on floor with a 9.850. The junior has scored a 9.825 or higher on beam in seven of the last eight meets. She has also notched a 9.800 or higher on floor nine out of the last 11 times she has competed in the event, including each of the last four meets.
- UNH is ranked fifth nationally on balance beam with a 49.150 average score. Only Oklahoma, Florida, Michigan and Alabama are ranked higher than the Wildcats.
- Casey Lauter, who is likely out for the season with an injury, is ranked No. 1 in EAGL with a 9.904 beam average score. Kelsey Aucoin (9.883) is ranked second and Lia Breeden (9.800) is tied for fifth.
