Freshman forward Ryan Conmy (Alexandria, Va.) of the UNH men's hockey team has been named the Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 27.
Ryan was named Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week due to his performance in UNH's series against No. 20 RIT this past weekend.
On Saturday, Ryan scored the game-tying goal with just 5.3 seconds left in regulation. He then recorded the assist on the game-winning goal that happened with 6.2 seconds left in overtime for the 4-3 victory over RIT.
During the 5-4 loss versus RIT on Friday, Ryan scored a career high of two goals. He is currently second on the team in goals (six) and first in assists (eight) and points (14).
The Wildcats will travel to No. 11 Maine on Dec. 1 for a 7 p.m game. The game can be watched on ESPN+. UNH's next home game is Dec. 9 against Rensselaer for Scout Day. There will also be a teddy bear toss and post-game skate.
