Junior Alyssa Worthington (West Warwick, R.I.) scored a 9.900 on balance beam to tie for second place when the UNH gymnastics team scored 194.400 and sixth place overall at the 2022 EAGL Championship, hosted by George Washington University.
Worthington shined on an otherwise difficult beam rotation for UNH, which finished with a 47.575.
The NCAA Gymnastics Championship Selection Show is slated for Tuesday, March 22, at 12 p.m. on NCAA.com. UNH will learn which of its individual gymnasts will be selected, based on NQS, to compete as specialists at NCAA Regionals.
