Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week: Mady Harvey and Rose Pavuk

DURHAM, N.H. – Sophomore Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) of the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team and senior Rose Pavuk (York, Maine) of the UNH women's lacrosse team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on March. 24.
Mady won the EAGL balance beam individual title with a 9.875 finishing first in the event this past Saturday, March 21, at the EAGL Championships, hosted by LIU at the Pratt Recreation Center. The UNH gymnastics team finished third overall with a score of 194.775.
Mady's impressive score in the balance beam led to her being selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Baton Rouge Regional Championship, hosted by LSU, on Thursday, April 2 (2pm ET, ESPN+). Harvey, EAGL's regular-season and EAGL Championship balance beam champion, will compete as an event specialist.
Rose had a great week posting eight goals and six assists for a total of 14 points in two games. In an 18-13 comeback win over Merrimack, on March,18, she tailed four goals and four assists. She set a personal best with eight points while her four assists tied for a career best.
Rose also put up big numbers on the road vs Binghamton this past Saturday, March 21, she recorded four goals and two assists for a total of six points. Rose was able to find the back of the net once in each quarter. With her most important goal coming with 5:19 left in the fourth quarter, giving the 'Cats an 11-10 advantage. Unfortunately, the Wildcats fell in overtime 12-11.
With her four-goal performances, Rose earned her sixth overall and fourth straight game with at least four goals this season. Additionally, her six-point day marks the fourth consecutive game with at least five points and the fifth such game overall this season. Her 14 points also led America East in total points this week
The Wildcats return home on Saturday, March 28, as New Hampshire hosts the University of Vermont (5-5, 1-1 AE) at Wildcat Stadium in Durham, N.H., for a 1pm draw.
