Hannah Petke, a senior from Rancho Santa Margarita, California, was named the MVP of the Holly Young Invitational this past weekend after leading UNH to first place. She recorded 2.71 kills per set on a .375 hitting percentage along with an average of 1.00 blocks per set totaling 3.21 points per set.
Petke dominated in UNH’s straight-set win against Holy Cross with 13 kills, a season-high, and one error on 18 attempts for a .667 hitting percentage. Following that, Petke made 10 kills and five blocks (all of which were assisted) in the tournament finale against Brown.
Petke also led the Wildcats to a straight-set win against Bryant at the start of last week with nine kills on a .471 hitting percentage along with five blocks.
