Linus Fallberg, a sophomore from Jonkoping, Sweden, lifted the UNH men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory against Quinnipiac University at Wildcat Stadium on Sept. 7.
Linus scored in the eighth minute (at 7:31) and that proved to be the game's only goal as the Wildcats recorded a 16-4 shot advantage that included 8-1 on goal. He recorded three of the team's 16 shots.
It was the second goal of the season for Linus. His two goals and four points rank second on the team.
Linus and the rest of the 'Cats return to action this week against Iona College (Sept. 12, 7pm) at Wildcat Stadium; UNH then travels for the Sept. 15 battle against intrastate rival Dartmouth College.
