BRONX, N.Y. - Junior Allison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) placed 10th overall to lead the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the 20-squad ECAC Championships on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park.

The Wildcats finished with 199 points, trailing only Marist College (85), America East foe, the University at Albany (119), Towson University (137), another America East member, Binghamton University (147), and Sacred Heart University (188).

Letourneau finished the five-kilometer run in a time of 18 minutes, 27.20 seconds. Junior Jennifer Racine (Haverhill, Mass.) was close behind, finishing 16th in the 192-runner field in 18:41.10.

Freshman Erin Phillips (Belmont, N.H.) and sophomore Elizabeth Campbell (Colonia, N.J.) finished 20th and 29th, respectively, in times of 18:52.10 and 19:00.00.

Junior Lindsey Jeltes (Oakland, N.J.) rounded out the Wildcat scorers when she finished 161st in 21:25.20.

The meet wrapped up the cross country season, but the Wildcats will return to action as they open up the indoor track and field season Friday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. when they compete at the Rhody Pentathlon at the Mackal Field House in Kingston, R.I.
