Margaret "Meg" Yurista is in her 16th season as an athletic trainer at UNH in 2025-26. She was promoted to the role of Associate Head Athletic Trainer in August 2024. Meg came to UNH after graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2009. She continued her education and completed her Master of Science in Nutrition from Northeastern University in 2015.
In addition to her sport team responsibilities, Meg has many administrative responsibilities and is part of the Wildcat Optimal Wellness (W.O.W.) Team. Meg coordinates educational events for life skills development within the W.O.W. Team. Meg has volunteered as an Athletic Trainer at the Boston Marathon, providing medical coverage in the medical tents as well as on the finish line yearly since 2012.
Meg is a certified member of the NATA and EATA. She is a licensed athletic trainer in New Hampshire, has American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification, and is a BOC certified athletic trainer. She also holds Functional movement screening level one and two certifications, Graston technique level one certified and Integrative Dry Needling certified.
She resides in Madbury with her Husband Ryan and their two children Augie and Mazie.
