Seventh-year head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte Announces 2025-26 Coaching Staff
DURHAM, N.H. – UNH gymnastics seventh-year head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte has announced the hiring of Nick Cramer as an assistant coach and the promotion of Alyssa Worthington '23 to assistant coach, reflecting her expanded role within the program.
Cramer will take the lead on home meet setup at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex and Lundholm Gym. This includes coordinating equipment installation and breakdown. Additionally, he will serve as the team's primary coach on vault and floor exercise while working alongside Worthington in recruiting.
"We're thrilled to welcome Nick to our staff," said Bruck Ayotte. "His diverse coaching experience and leadership background will be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes and the continued growth of our program."
Cramer joins the Wildcats with a strong background in both men's and women's gymnastics. Most recently, he served as program director for Metro Stars Gymnastics, overseeing the Junior Olympic boys' team and managing all aspects of program development, competition coordination and athlete progression. His coaching career includes roles at the Nebraska School of Gymnastics and Metro Stars, where he worked with athletes across various levels, specializing in advanced skill progression and spotting. A former NCAA gymnast at Springfield College, Cramer was a team captain and USAG Varsity Representative, bringing leadership and a deep understanding of collegiate gymnastics to UNH.
Worthington, who joined the UNH coaching staff in 2024, has been promoted to assistant coach following her impactful contributions in choreography, recruiting and community engagement. In her second season, Worthington is in charge of in-gym conditioning, is the primary coach on balance beam and works on floor and beam choreography. In addition to recruiting alongside Cramer, she serves as the staff liaison for the UNH Gymnastics Community Program. A standout gymnast for the Wildcats from 2020–23, Worthington was a three-time NCAA Regional competitor and four-time All-EAGL First Team honoree on beam. Her career-high 9.975 on beam ranks tied for third in program history.
"Alyssa's passion for UNH and her dedication to our team have been evident since day one," Bruck Ayotte said. "Her transition from student-athlete to coach has been seamless, and we're excited to see her continue to thrive in this expanded role."
