Nick Cramer joined the UNH gymnastics program as an assistant coach under seventh-year head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte in September 2025, bringing with him a versatile coaching background and extensive experience in both men’s and women’s gymnastics. At UNH, Cramer serves as the primary coach on vault and floor exercise, while also playing a key role in the team’s recruiting efforts alongside fellow assistant coach Alyssa Worthington ’23.
Cramer also oversees all home meet setup operations at the Whittemore Center at the Key Auto Group Complex and Lundholm Gym, coordinating equipment installation and breakdown to ensure a world-class competition environment for the Wildcats.
Before arriving in Durham, Cramer served as program director at Metro Stars Gymnastics, where he led the Junior Olympic boys’ program and managed all elements of athlete development, training plans, and competition coordination. His coaching career includes additional roles at both Metro Stars and the Nebraska School of Gymnastics, where he specialized in advanced skill progression, technical development and spotting across multiple levels.
A former NCAA gymnast at Springfield College, Cramer was a team captain and served as a USAG Varsity Representative, giving him deep insight into the demands, culture and student-athlete experience of collegiate gymnastics. His leadership background and broad skill set make him a significant addition to the Wildcats’ coaching staff.
Head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte praised Cramer’s hiring, noting, “His diverse coaching experience and leadership background will be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes and the continued growth of our program.”
