Reade Named EAGL Rookie of Week for Fourth Time in Five Weeks

Freshman Set or Tied Five Personal-Best Scores in Week 5
WEIRTON, W. Va. – UNH freshman gymnast Aine Reade (Merrimac, Mass.) has been named the EAGL Rookie of the Week for Week 5, which marks her fourth honor in the first five weeks of the East Atlantic Gymnastics League season.
On Friday night at the Towson Invite at Show Place Arena, Reade tied her personal best on vault (9.800), set a career high on balance beam (9.775), equaled her career-high on floor (9.850) and established a career-best 39.100 to place third in all-around.
In Sunday's Temple meet that featured all five EAGL teams, Reade eclipsed her personal-best on floor (9.875) to top the podium in that event. The freshman is No. 1 in EAGL on floor (9.842 AVG), No. 3 in all-around (38.394 AVG) and No. 6 (tops among Wildcats) on vault (9.754 AVG).
Reade's previous Rookie of the Week accolades came in Week 1-3.
