'Cats Total Highest Road Score of Season in Runner-Up Finish at Yale

Wildcats amass a 194.500, with season’s best scores on vault & uneven bars
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The UNH gymnastics team recorded its highest road score of the season and notched its top marks on vault and uneven bars as part of a runner-up finish in Sunday's quad meet at Yale University's Payne Whitney Gymnasium.
The Wildcats (9-10, 2-1 EAGL) scored a 194.500 to defeat host Yale (193.675) and Brown (193.375). Towson won the meet with a 195.400.
Sophomore Gwen Ockerbloom (Granby, Conn.) scored a personal-best 9.850 on vault to tie Towson's Polina Belanovski for first place on that apparatus.
Junior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) won the all-around championship with a personal-best 39.000 to edge TU's Isabella Minervini (38.975) and freshman Aine Reade (Merrimac, Mass.), who totaled a 38.950 for third place.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Vault (Team Score – 48.925)
•Ockerbloom's career-high 9.850 was the highest score by a Wildcat vault performer this season and headlined the team's season-high 48.925 in that event.
•Junior Leah Moreno (Cary, N.C.) set a season high with a 9.800 for a share of third with Towson's Isabella DeCroo.
•Senior Gracy Mowers (Middleton, Mass.) equaled her season best with a 9.775, which matched Reade and TU's Ava Harper for fifth.
Uneven Bars (Team Score – 48.650)
•Sophomore Zoe Arthur (El Segundo, Calif.) paced UNH's best bar performance of the season (48.650) with a career-high 9.850, which was the highest bar score by a Wildcat in 2025.
•Arthur knotted Yale's Chloe DeJoy for third place, behind Minervini (9.925) and runner-up Clara Hong of Towson (9.875).
•Mullin and Reade each tied a personal-best 9.725 to share 12th place.
Balance Beam (Team Score – 47.900)
•Mullin was the Wildcats' leader on balance beam with a 9.775. She tied for fourth place with Brown's Lindsay Van Eyk and Yale's Hana Strause.
•Hong won beam with a 9.850, followed by a two-way tie for second (9.800) between Brown's Emily Ford and Towson's Celia Trotter.
•Freshman Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) led off the beam lineup with a 9.700 (T-9th).
Floor Exercise (Team Score – 49.025)
•The floor lineup scored a 49.025, which tied the second-highest score of the season (Jan. 31 at Towson Invite).
•Sophomore Anne Challman (Lewisburg, Pa.), sophomore McCall McMullen (Athens, Ga.), Mullin and Reade shared fourth place (9.825).
•The score equaled the second-highest of the season for both McMullen and Mullin.
•Reade remained No. 1 in EAGL on floor with a 9.850 NQS (National Qualifying Score); the freshman has never scored below a 9.800 in eight career meets.
