Minaev Wins Three Events to Pace Team Blue to a 9-7 Victory

Head-to-head cat fight with blue taking home the victory
DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Poulina Minaev (Smithtown, N.Y) posted three event victories to lead Team Blue to a 9-7 victory over Team White in the UNH Gymnastics Meet the Team exhibition held Saturday at Lundholm Gym.
Senior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) and sophomore Peyton Novinger (Hershey, Pa.) helped Team White remain in contention with Team Blues with victories on three events (vault, floor and beam).
Other multiple event winners included junior Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.), who won vault and bars and junior Gwen Ockerbloom (Granby, Conn.), who posted wins on vault, and floor.
The Wildcats open the season on the road at University of Maryland Quad Meet along with George Washington, and LIU on Friday Jan. 9 at 7pm.
UNH hosts Air Force, Bridgeport, and Iowa State for the Heroes Day, Military Appreciation and Mental Health Awareness meet on Sunday Jan. 18 at 2pm in the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group.
