DURHAM, N.H – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team fell to UAlbany, 61-57 on Thursday night from Lundholm Gymnasium.
Junior guard Sami Pissis (Paris, France) scored 17 points and recorded 3 rebounds for the Wildcats. Junior guard Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) added 16 points and 6 rebounds for the 'Cats.
Freshman guard Khalil Badru (New Britain, Conn.) recorded 6 rebounds.
The Wildcats fall to 2-15 (1-1 AE).

- Badru wasted no time, scoring a two-pointer, just under one minute into the half. However, the Great Danes responded with a 6-0 run to make the score 10-4.
- McComb III scored the first three-pointer for UNH to even the score 15-15.
- After a back-and-forth half, the 'Cats took their first lead of the game with two-pointers from Sophomore forward Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.) and sophomore forward Davide Poser (Veneto, Italy). 'Cats up 21-17.
- Pissis knocked in a three to extend the 'Cats lead.
- Pissis added a two-pointer to end the half, 'Cats lead 28-23.

- Pissis started the scoring off for UNH, netting a three-pointer to extend the lead to 31-26.
- After a hard-fought half, the 'Cats seized the momentum, going on a 6-0 run, to put the 'Cats up 37-33.
- The Great Danes battled back and tied up the score 43-43. And at 5:07, the Great Danes take the lead, 48-46.
- 30 seconds later, Badru nets a two-pointer to tie the game up 48-48. However, the Great Danes answered quickly and netted six straight points, going up 56-50.
- McComb III sunk in a three-pointer to break the Great Danes' momentum.
