Reade sets three personal-best scores & Challman notches two Top-3 finishes

DURHAM, N.H. – Freshman Aine Reade (Merrimac, Mass.) set three personal-best scores, sophomore Anne Challman (Lewisburg, Pa.) parlayed a pair of career-high marks into top-3 finishes, and junior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) won the first all-around championship of her career as the UNH gymnastics team scored a 194.600 in Saturday's home-opening loss to No. 24 Minnesota (196.375) in the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Vault
•Sophomore McCall McMullen (Athens, Ga.) tied her career-high vault score with a 9.825 to match Minnesota's Teryn Crump for third place. Golden Gopher Mya Hooten won vault with a 9.950, followed by her teammate Sarah Moraw (9.875).
•For the Wildcats, sophomore Gwen Ockerbloom (Granby, Conn.) registered a sixth-place tie (9.775), and Reade posted a PB 9.750 (eighth).
•Senior Gracy Mowers (Middleton, Ma.) made her long-anticipated return to the lineup for the first time since the 2023 EAGL Championship (March 18, 2023) and scored a 9.725 (ninth) from the anchor position.

Uneven Bars
•Junior Leah Moreno (Cary, N.C.) led UNH on bars with a 9.750 for a share of fifth place.
•Reade registered her second straight personal best-score with a 9.725 (seventh).
•Mullin, in only her second career appearance in the bar lineup, set a PB with a 9.700 (T-8^th).
•Sophomore Zoe Arthur (El Segundo, Calif.) also set a career benchmark with a 9.675 (10^th).
•Led by Jordyn Lyden (9.875), Minnesota swept the top four scores on bars.

Balance Beam
•Challman's career-high 9.775 headlined the beam lineup and forged a tie with Minnesota's Moraw and Brooklyn Rowray for third place
•Mullin and freshman Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) shared seventh place (9.725).
•Lyden won beam with a 9.825, just ahead of Gopher teammate Ava Stewart (9.800).

Floor Exercise
•Reade set a personal best and Challman equaled her career-high with a 9.850 to share runner-up status with Minnesota's Lauren Pearl.
•Mullin sealed her first career all-around victory (38.925) by securing a 9.800 for seventh.
•McMullen recorded her third PB of the meet with a 9.725 to tie teammate Poulina Minaev (Smithtown, N.Y.) for ninth.
•Hooten topped the podium on floor with a 9.900.
