The Wildcats Competed in Border Battle vs. Maine

DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH women's track and field team hosted the University of Maine for the famous Border Battle, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. The team placed second with a score of 69 to Maine's 75. This is the first and only home meet for the Wildcats during the indoor season. UNH also hosted the second annual Alumni Mile Race. Which saw alumni of all ages and skill levels from both M&W Track and Field and Cross Country compete in a professionally timed mile race. Meagan Saviano won the women's Alumni Mile with a time of 5:09.55.

- Junior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, CA) finished first in the mile race with a time of 5:02.93.
- Freshman Ronnie Jones recorded a first-place throw in the shot put with a distance of 12.84m and threw for third place in the weight throw with a distance of 14.71m.
- Senior Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.78.

- The 'Cats will return to action Jan. 26-27 where they will be competing in both the River Hawk and Terrier invitationals, hosted by UMass Lowell and Boston University, respectively.
