UNH Competes at Friar Invitational

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) led the Wildcats with a 21st-place finish as the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team competed at the Friar Invitational on the 4K Mark Coogan XC Course at Highland Park. Providence (25 points) won the meet, while UConn (41 points) was second, Stony Brook (66 points) was third and UNH was fourth (118 points).

- The Wildcats will return to action at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday, Sept. 30.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Doody finished with a time of 15:44.5 to lead the Wildcats.
- Sophomore Delaney Hesler (Steep Falls, Maine) placed 25th with a time of 16:00.1, while freshman Reagan Hoy (Surry, N.H.) was 27th at 16:38.0.
- Sophomore Zoe Catrambone (Cranston, R.I.) finished 28th (16:55.7) and senior Hannah Langstaff (Windham, Maine) was 30th (17:13.7) to round out the top five scorers.
