WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio) led the team with 11 points and five steals as the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to Holy Cross 56-49 on Wednesday evening from the Hart Center.

The Wildcats' record falls to 2-2 (0-0 AE) and Holy Cross' improves to 2-1. (0-0 Patriot League).

· The 'Cats held the Crusaders from scoring through the first five minutes of the quarter, going on a 4-0 run.

· The teams had a tight quarter in points scored with Holy Cross scoring 13 and UNH sinking 11.

·      The Wildcats lead the Crusaders in points off turnovers, 20-8.
·      Senior guard Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.) led the team in defensive rebounds with eight.
·      Williams drained 11 points for the Wildcats while Kane was right behind her with 10.
