- UNH responded with a 13-play drive that consumed 6:39 off the clock but the drive, slowed by an unsportsmanlike penalty, stalled at the WMU 40 and the Wildcats were forced to punt.

SECOND QUARTER

- A UNH bad snap in punt formation set up 1st-and-10 for the Broncos at the UNH 14, and four plays later Salopek found Josh Burgett in the back of the end zone for a 3-yard TD and 28-0 lead at 12:07.
- Facing 2nd-and-9 at the WMU 26, UNH called a timeout. Out of that break, Brosmer threw a jump ball toward the left pylon, where Laube won the ball in the air at the WMU 2 and went into the end zone for the touchdown. Nick Mazzie (Boxford, Mass.) kicked the PAT to trim the deficit to 28-7 at 2:15.
THIRD QUARTER
- WMU converted an interception at the UNH 38 into a 34-yard field goal by Palmer Domschke and 31-7 lead at 3:04.
FOURTH QUARTER

- Charles Briscoe III (Bowie, Md.) partially blocked a punt to set up 1st-and-goal at the WMU 8. Myles Thomason (Montclair, N.J.) ran the ball into the end zone but a holding play negated the score, and on the next play WMU scored on a 97-yard interception return to take a 44-7 lead at 5:23.
