Olivia Stille named America East Swimmer of the Week

BOSTON – Sophomore Olivia Stille (Stockholm, Sweden) of the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team was named America East Swimmer the Week, which was announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Stille won multiple events in the dual meet victory against Maine on Saturday at Swasey Pool, including the 50 (24.47) and 100 free (52.48). She was also part of UNH's 200-yard medley relay team that earned first place with a time of 1:48.17.
"Olivia has been on fire this semester in practice really swimming fast and it's great to see her getting the chance to race now in meets," said UNH Head Coach Josh Willman. "Things have really been coming together for her and we look forward to her performances at championships."
Stille wins the award for the first time in her Wildcat career and is the second UNH swimmer to win the recognition this season.
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, March 27 at Vermont. Meet time from Forbush Natatorium is 2 p.m. in Burlington, Vt.
