Anderson, Schulz win 10K races to complete 552-480 victory against St. Lawrence
JACKSON, N.H. – The UNH Nordic ski team completed a 552-480 win against St. Lawrence in the EISA Nordic Carnival on Friday with Scott Schulz (Lake Placid, N.Y.) and Lucinda Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) each registering a 10K skate victory to complete the two-day event at Jackson XC.
Schulz headlined a contingent of five men's Nordic 'Cats atop the leaderboard in the men's 10K skate to claim 50 points (27 minutes, 29.2 seconds). James Schneider (Plymouth, Minn.) racked up 47 points in second place (28:53.1), and Andrew Meyer (Bozeman, Mont.) earned 44 points by placing fourth (30:17.9). The Wildcats defeated the Saints, 141-117.
Seth Wyatt (Bozeman, Mont.), who won Thursday's 10K race, finished in third place (29:17.0), and Kieran Hahn (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) took fifth (30:27.4) to lead UNH skiers who did not account for EISA points.

On the women's side, Anderson led the charge in a time of 31:57.0 (50 points), followed by Jasmine Lyons (Ottawa, Ontario), who finished in third place (44 points, 33:08.2), and Dariya Kuznetsova(Pervouralsk, Russia), who placed fourth (41 points, 34:07.5). Ingrid Norton (Midway, Utah) crossed the finish line in 34:25.8 for fifth place, and the Wildcats won the race, 135-123.
