Wildcats finish third in combined Burke Alpine/Woodstock Inn Nordic Carnival
EAST BURKE, Vt. – University of New Hampshire junior men's alpine skier Crowley Gentile (Greenland, N.H.) finished in third place and in fifth place in Saturday's two men's giant slalom races at the EISA Burke Mountain Carnival.
Gentile registered a combined time of 2 minutes, .68 seconds to earn 44 points in the morning GS before returning to post a time of 1:59.57 in the afternoon race for fifth place (39 points).
UNH finished third in the combined Burke Mountain Alpine Carnival/Woodstock Inn Nordic Carnival with 573 points, behind Vermont (1,095) and Saint Lawrence (749).

LOOKING AHEAD
•The Wildcat men's and women's Nordic teams are set to host the UNH Nordic Carnival at Jackson XC on Friday, Feb. 19. The men's and women's alpine teams are scheduled to resume action at the Saint Lawrence Alpine Carnival on Feb. 25-26 at Whiteface Mountain.
