DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH ski program announced that 12 student-athletes will join the program for the 2021-22 season. The incoming class features six alpine skiers and six Nordic skiers representing seven nations.
"We are excited to have these 12 student-athletes coming to the University as members of the UNH ski program," said Cory Schwartz, now in his 40th season as Nordic head coach and 35th year coordinating the ski program. "COVID made recruiting even tougher than normal, not being able to meet people in person and not seeing them compete. We communicated with recruits and their families, all via Zoom, and learned that these new Wildcats exemplify the virtues of the UNH ski team: believing in teamwork, discipline, fellowship, intellect, and level-headedness. They are hard workers and are enthusiastic for our sport, the program and the University."
