DURHAM, N.H. – After going 1-1-0 in the third weekend of the season, the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team enters the final week of non-conference play at Dartmouth Thursday evening on ESPN+. The Wildcats will return home the following Sunday, September 15 to face Army West Point in their final non-conference game of the season.
Last Time Out
• New Hampshire went 1-1-0 last weekend defeating Marist at home Thursday evening by a score of 5-0, and falling to Boston College on Sunday, 0-2.
• Against Marist, five different Wildcats tallied goals, and four of them tallied their first goals of the season. It was the most goals for a UNH women's soccer team since 2015.
• New Hampshire held Boston College to just one shot on goal in the first half. The Eagles were held scoreless in the first half for just the second time this season, before surging in the second half to take a 2-0 victory.
Players to Watch
• Senior Ally Reynolds (Weymouth, Mass.) and freshman Whitney Wiley (Vienna, Va.) lead the team with seven points each. (Wiley: 3g, 1a | Reynolds: 2g, 3a)
• Reynolds and fellow senior Kaylan Williams (Marion, Ind.) lead the team with three assists.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y.) got her first career start when UNH faced the Rhode Island Rams in its season opener. She holds a 3-3-0 record in net with a .808 save% and a 0.85 goals-against average.
About Dartmouth
• The Big Green (Hanover, N.H.) come into the weekend with a 3-1-0 record.
• This will be the 40th meeting between UNH and Dartmouth.
• Dartmouth holds a 2-0-0 home record on the young season.
• The Big Green are coming off a 7-0 rout of Florida International on the road last Sunday, September 8.
