Wildcats open season versus Boston University on Aug. 29 at Wildcat Stadium.
DURHAM, N.H. - University of New Hampshire head men's soccer head coach Marc Hubbard has announced the incoming class for the 2019 season.
"This class is very well balanced in every position besides forwards, which is currently our deepest position in terms of experience," said Hubbard. "We expect at least five of these incoming players to be competing for starting spots right away. The class is a mix of experienced older players who we feel have great attributes to contribute right away, but also a younger crop that has the potential to develop within the rigors of our program. We have proven over our time here that we will reward the best players and people who compete and improve themselves on a daily basis and we think every player in this class understands the importance of this concept."

LIAM BENNETT

COACH HUBBARD: "Liam personifies every aspect we look for in a player who joins our program. He takes great pride in representing his state school, has tremendous work rate, possesses an excellent foundation to develop and has high upside. He was our first commit for this class and we believe we have a student athlete who will be an exceptional ambassador for UNH."
CLAY COURTMANCHE

COACH HUBBARD: "Clay is a player we were able to identify, invite to our College ID Days and has developed tremendously over the past year. We know he will push himself to become a top goalkeeper within our program and has the mindset to become one of the top goal keepers in the Northeast. Clay believes in UNH, what he can accomplish here and as long he continues to push himself he will achieve his goals."
BILLY JONES

COACH HUBBARD: "Billy is a valuable addition to this recruiting class as a left sided player. He has competed and played at a high level in the U.S. and can play multiple positions. He came to our College ID and we immediately felt as though he was a player who fits the UNH player profile. Billy has been great during the recruiting process, adds an exciting element to our program this fall and we are excited to see him grow during his time in Durham."
BILAL KAMAL

COACH HUBBARD: "Bilal has been playing at a very high level for many years and we are very excited about his versatility. We are always looking for a player with his attributes as a two footed, two-way player so we are eager to see how he fits into our system this season."
FABIAN LUTZ

COACH HUBBARD: "Fabi is a top-level player and we are confident he will be a high impact player in our program and conference. He can influence the game in numerous ways and his high soccer pedigree will benefit us on the field. We also believe his mentality, playing experience and lofty goals will be an example for younger guys on our roster for the approach needed to be a top performer."
LUKE MADDEN

COACH HUBBARD: "Luke was recommended to us by an alum of the program, attended our College ID and we jumped on the chance to take him here at UNH. We think we have a player who has gone under the radar and we are very happy he will be taking his ability to the East Coast this fall. Luke is a great person to be around, believes in UNH and we believe in his ability to take off in this setting. He possesses similar athletic and defensive attributes to guys in our program who jumped to a new level last year and we are excited to see Luke push himself do the same."
DYLAN MAXON

COACH HUBBARD: "Dylan is a tidy left footed midfielder who can play in tight spaces and will stretch the field with his range of passing. His confidence on the ball, ability to find and exploit dangerous space will help us continue to play our style of soccer. We think Dylan fills a void left by one of our recent seniors who had a strong impact on the program. During the process we saw Dylan change games and we believe that the attributes he brings will translate well to the college level."
VICTOR MENUDIER

COACH HUBBARD: "Victor will come into our locker room with experience playing in conference championship games, NCAA Tournament games and at a high youth level. He is a great person, is organized and diligent in his academics and we are very excited he has chosen UNH as the best place for him to continue his collegiate playing career. We believe his passing ability, defensive attributes and tactical understanding will help us continue to have one of the of the best GAA in college soccer."
ALEJANDRO ROBLES

COACH HUBBARD: "We are very excited about Alex's attributes and pedigree coming from one of the best clubs in North America. At Tigres, Alex has trained and competed with players and coaches who have played at the highest level. Alex is rare in that he has been able to balance an extremely hard undergraduate coursework and continue to perform at a top level. His characteristics will translate well to college soccer and we look forward to seeing what he can accomplish here in Durham."
LUKAS RUBIO

COACH HUBBARD: "Lukas is a player we initially recruited coming out of high school and possesses all of the technical skills we look for in our players. He has a great first touch and combines very well in tight areas so we think he will complement our midfield right away. Most importantly, Lukas has great character and we believe that he will bring a lot to our locker room environment."
JAMES THOMAS

COACH HUBBARD: "James is another player whose background in college soccer as well as his path overseas fits the profile of previous players who have been successful at UNH. He is an incredibly versatile defender who we believe can play anywhere along the back line as well as step into the midfield. While we value his toughness and desire to compete from a defensive stand point we believe he has valuable attacking attributes and on the ball attributes that will be extremely important for us this fall."
